(Junior) Engineer building techniques & sustainable building
Raco Research Office is looking for a (junior) project leader. Your task is to successfully complete the start-up and follow-up of challenging and more complex studies from A to Z. This both from behind the desk and on the construction sites.
You have a technical affinity with building techniques, with a focus on electrical installations and you are also interested in HVAC installations. You investigate the technical feasibility of different equipment and actively strive for optimisations. You analyze quotations, conduct technical negotiations with customers, suppliers, architects and contractors and participate in site meetings.
During implementation you are responsible for the techniques part and you keep control over the quality, the budget and the planning. As a real team player, you are always willing to help your colleagues with their technical issues. Your strengths are that you maintain an overview of the various projects, you work systematically and respect deadlines.
The range of duties includes:
Building techniques: devising and elaborating HVAC & Electrical in Autocad or Revit (BIM)
Elaborate detailed descriptions of the special techniques
Devise and describe building management systems
Drawing up Energy audits, LCA Studies, Feasibility studies
Attend site meetings
Drafting EPB studies
Experience with the programs to be used is a plus, but not a must.

You are responsible for daily contact with customers, suppliers, architects and contractors
You are responsible for the financial result of the project
You think along with the customer in a solution-oriented way
Profile:
You have at least an engineering degree (construction/electromechanics/energy/architecture) or equivalent through relevant experience
If you have recently graduated, take your chance
You have a solid background and a healthy interest in construction and HVAC techniques
You work analytically and tackle things
You have an affinity with sustainable energy and see this as a challenge for the coming years.
Must be in possession of driving license type(s): B
